Yo Gotti To Help Pay For Funeral Of 10 Year Old Boy Who Killed Himself
Yo Gotti is giving back to his hometown of Memphis.
Yo Gotti has decided to help pay for the funeral of 10 year old Jaheim McKinzie, who stabbed himself to death over the weekend.
According to Fox 13, Jaheim’s mother, Robin McKenzie, whipped him extension cords and choked him as a form of discipline. The boy then went to the kitchen and stabbed himself in the chest. Robin confessed to attacking her son, and is now in custody on child abuse charges.
On Tuesday, Jaheim’s aunt, Tonya Bailey, told The Commercial Appeal that her sister and her nephew both had a history of mental health issues.
According to Gotti’s manager, the “Rake It Up” rapper will help pay for Jaheim’s funeral. It is unclear how much money Gotti will donate.
Another one of Jaheim’s aunts, Latasha Richman, expressed how grateful she was that Yo Gotti is helping out with the funeral expenses, “Words can’t express how I feel about it. It is truly a blessing because we didn’t know how we were going to do everything because it is something that took us by surprise and we are trying to be strong.”
In other news, Yo Gotti is well over his public feud with Young Dolph. During a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Gotti stated, “Most time it take two people to be in any altercation naw Im saying? If you really watch me you don’t see me saying anything or doing nothing. I just pay it no mind.”
