XXXTentacion releases controversial video, “Look At Me.”
After achieving worldwide popularity early-2017 off his Soundcloud single, Florida emcee XXXTentacion promotes his chart-topping debut album release with a new visual treatment for the song that made him a house hold name, “Look At Me.”
The fan favorite single turned visual delivers a NSFW controversially aggressive image of a rowdy XXXTentacion and his crew bump rushing a classroom and reenacting several historic and current event tragedies including the Rodney King beating, this year’s Ferguson riot, Missouri riot, Heather Heyer of Charlottesville, and the Philando Castile shooting. The video concludes with an eye-opening scene and message from XXX, speaking on racism and equality.
The JMP directed visual was written and visioned by XXXTentacion himself and even includes the scene of XXX hanging himself that has recently caused an uproar on social media. XXX later cleared up the photos as a scene in the new video.
While raunchy, the visual has a thought provoking artistic touch that will spark conversation and further propel XXX to the top.
