Trey Songz says Nicki Minaj didn’t blow up until “Bottoms Up” was released.

Today, Trey Songz stopped by The Breakfast Club in an effort to promote the release of his “Tremaine” album, which dropped today.

While there, Charlamagne Tha God asked the “Animal” singer if Nicki Minaj had apologized to him since calling him out on Twitter. Trigga admitted that she hadn’t, but claims to still have love for her, “No, she hasn’t, and Nicki, I love you.”

Songz followed up by adding fuel to the fire – insisting that Minaj’s career didn’t really blow up until the two collaborated on “Bottoms Up”, “And Nicki said she gave me six platinum, but let’s keep it real, Nicki ain’t had sh** before ‘Bottoms Up.”

He added, “She got a single with Sean Garrett. After that, she did ‘Monster’ and then she [blew up]. All before that, it was looks. You was hanging with Wayne. It was the wild girl with wild hair. I love you Nicki. I love you. You came at me wrong. You disrespected me, but I love you.”

On “shETHER”, Remy Ma accused Nicki of sleeping with Trigga, “Mentionin’ guns, you Pussy Galore, James Bond / Only time you touch a trigga is when you fucked Trey Songz.” Minaj immeidately slammed the allegations, and lashed out at Trey for not standing up for her.

Something tells me this is about to get messy.
