Rick Ross Sued Over Concert Cancellation
Rick Ross is the latest star to skip out on a concert.
Just two days before his scheduled performance at an outdoor festival at Wild Things Park in Washington, PA, Rick Ross pulled out of the show. Washington County Family Entertainment is now suing the MMG rapper. WCFE reportedly paid Renzel $150K upfront, but claims he has only refunded half of the advance.
According to TMZ, Ross’ contract states he “cannot cancel once the contract is executed and tickets are on sale.” However, Ross reached out to WCFE and informed them that he would be unable to perform due to health and family issues. WCFE is now suing Renzel for the remaining balance of $87,500.
Ross’ booking agency has since chimed in, stating that he was paid an $40K advance, and that a stipulation in the contract allowed him to reschedule if illness was a factor.
