Post Malone and 21 Savage dethrone Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow.”

Congratulations are in order for Post Malone and 21 Savage! Only one month after its release, Posty’s 21 Savage-assisted song “Rockstar” nabs the number one spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

After spending it’s first three weeks on the chart in the No. 2 slot, Rockstar has officially dethroned Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow”, which spent three weeks at No. 1.

According to Nielsen Music, last week, Rockstar raked in 51.3 million U.S. streams and 48,000 downloads. This is quite an accomplishment for both stars who have never scored a number 1 single up until now.

Malone’s “Congratulations” with Quavo previously peaked at No. 8, while Savage’s “Bank Account” reached No. 12.

Just last month, Rockstar broke Apple Music’s single week streaming record with over 25 million plays.

Rockstar is expected to appear on Malone’s Beerbongs & Bentleys album, which has yet to receive an official release date.
