On November 15, Lil Peep, born Gustav Åhr, 21, died on his tour bus from a suspected Xanax overdose. His death is currently being investigated, and law enforcement believes Fentanyl, an opioid used to treat severe pain, may have played a role in it.

An autopsy has yet to reveal what drugs were in Peep’s system, however, police found drug paraphernalia, Xanax, marijuana, and an unknown tan powder on his tour bus.

A few weeks ago, Peep’s brother, Karl Åhr, told PEOPLE that his brother’s death was accidental, and laced Xanax pills may have causes his death, “We [the family] have heard there was some sort of substance he did not expect to be involved in the substance he was taking. He thought he could take what he did, but he had been given something and he didn’t realize what it was.It was an accident, it really was an accident. He was super happy with where he was in life.”
