Lamar Odom Collapses At Los Angeles Nightclub, Doing Well Now (Video)

lamar odom collapses at los angeles night club doing well now

Lamar Odom passed out due to dehydration.

Early Sunday morning, while enjoying a night out at Bootsty Bellows nightclub in Los Angeles, Lamar Odom collapsed at his VIP table. Around 2:00 a.m., three security guards rushed to the former NBA star’s aid – who quickly regained consciousness.

The short clip was captured by an identified man, who claims Odom was drinking several hours before he collapsed. Odom is now feeling much better, according to his rep who told PEOPLE he was dehydrated, “Lamar is doing well. He was dehydrated and had been in an intense workout earlier in the day. It was also very hot in the club.”

The incident was raised quite a few eyebrows being that Odom has a history of substance abuse. In October 2015, he was discovered unconscious at a Nevada brothel. He was transferred to the hospital where he spent four days in a coma – suffering 2 heart attacks and 12 strokes.

In April, Odom opened up about the near death experience to US Weekly, “Everything was my fault. I was home by myself. Bored. I wanted to get out and have a good time. Looking back, I might have had a drink to get the mood started, but was I drunk or on drugs? Not at all.”

“I remember lying in bed. Two women were in bed and then I fell asleep. That’s all. When I woke up four days later, I was trying to pull the tubes out of my mouth.”

Odom later checked into a 30 day inpatient rehab center. “Living sober, meaning no drugs, is a great feeling. Being in the moment is important—how you react, respond, create.”
