Kodak Black Released From Jail
Kodak Black is home!
Kodak Black, born Dieuson Octave, 19, regained his freedom this morning.
A representative at the Broward County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the Florida rapper was released at approximately 8:45 a.m. today after spending almost a month behind bars. Following his release, Kodak hopped on Instagram Live to break the exciting news to his fans.
Last month, Kodak was sentenced to 364 days in jail for a parole violation stemming from a 2016 conviction. Luckily, the judge was understanding and willing to work with Kodak.
As part of a deal, if Kodak completed a 30 day life skills course while incarcerated, his sentence would be reduced to 180 days with time served. TMZ has reported that the course covered domestic violence, financial management, parenting, problem solving and and self-control.
Kodak Black dropped his debut studio album “Painting Pictures” in March.
