Karrueche’s Manager Says Iyanla Vanzant Pretends To Help People For Ratings (Video)

karrueches manager says iyanla vanzant pretends to help people for ratings

Iyanla Vanzant may not be as genuine as she appears to be.

Back in 2015, Karrueche appeared on Iyanla: Fix My Life, where she went into detail about her painful breakup with Chris Brown. Karrueche recently stopped by The Angie Martinez Show and revealed that she regrets talking to Iyanla Vanzant and was embarrassed after the show aired.

Before she could explain any further, Karrueche’s manager, Jacob York, quickly interjected to explain what angered him, “It wasn’t Iyanla Fix My Life. It was just an interview with OWN. OWN reached out on a premise that they wanted to interview her then they tried to backdoor this Iyanla (thing).”

York was hoping that the world would get a chance to see who Karrueche for who she really was – outside of being Brown’s ex-girlfriend, “We figured she had an ‘others name’ and people just saw her as this traditional girl that dated a celebrity. So we wanted (the public) to understand what her intentions were, not what you probably think. So what you saw was a vulnerable, confused, young lady. Not some money-grubbing hoe looking for a come-up from a singer….It actually had a very good affect for her.”

He went on to say that Vanzant is more interested in ratings instead of actually helping people, “Yeah, I put her out the house in the middle of the interview…. My beef with her is that she puts on this idea that she’s trying to help people when she’s only trying to get ratings — you know, how she was attacking her….It was designed as an interview, so yes I do have beef with Iyanla.”

York added, “I think she’s fake and what she did to her as young, black, woman was foul. Because we had an agreement that she was going to speak to her and hear her story and immediately it was a ‘Aren’t you a this?’ And, ‘Aren’t you a that?’ And I was like, ‘Wow, you have to leave.’”
