James Harden Visits Meek Mill In Jail
James Harden provides an update on Meek Mill.
Since being incarcerated, Meek Mill has received a great amount of love and support from celebrities who all feel that he was served an injustice. Most recently, Houston Rockets point guard, James Harden, traveled to the State Correctional Institution in Chester, Pennsylvania to pay Meek a visit and show some support.
According to Harden, Meek is doing well, and may possibly be a free man in a couple of months. Via social media, Harden wrote, “Got a chance to see my bro Meek Mill today. His spirit is high and hopefully we can get him out by February. Told me to tell y’all when he get out he got some (fire) for y’all.”
76ers owner, Michael Rubin, who has reportedly visited Meek Mill several times over the past few months told Billboard, “His spirits are about as good as they could be in jail. He’s smiling, he’s positive and he’s really very appreciative of all the support he’s gotten… from Al Sharpton, Colin Kaepernick, Kevin Hart, all these people supporting him on social media.”
Harden will reportedly honor Meek tonight and wear a pair of custom made “Free Meek” sneakers during a game against the Boston Celtics.
