Fetty Wap has recruited Jhene Aiko for a track on his upcoming album, King Zoo.

Not too long ago, Fetty Wap teamed up with Nicki Minaj for his song, “Like A Star” – the first single off of his debut album. Now, the “Wake Up” rapper has revealed that he and “The Worst” songstress  Jhene Aiko have a record on the way.

In a new interview, Fetty told Billboard, “I sent her a song and made it specifically for her to feature on. When she heard the song, she was like, ‘The song is fire. It’s hot. We gon’ rock with it.’ She did it. She took her time on it. She did what she did and it’s fire. I’m just excited because it’s my first time working with big artists.”

The 25 year old New Jersey native also opened up about working with Nicki Minaj, “I was really beasting for her to get on the song. I ain’t really want nobody else on the song but her. I really didn’t make the song for myself.”

“I just made the song to see if she liked the song, and have somebody else do the song with her. I ain’t really the reggae-sounding artist, so for me to jump in that lane, it was different for me.”

Fetty released his first studio album, “Fetty Wap”, in September of 2015. Since then, he has dropped a number or singles, music videos, and mixtapes to keep fans tuned in while waiting for his sophomore album to hit shelves.

According to Fetty, he is the sole reason why the album has been delayed, “The reason for the delay is me. It wasn’t nobody else. It wasn’t a conflict between me and 300 [Entertainment]. It wasn’t a conflict between me and RGF [Productions]. It was no conflict at all.”

“It was just me not being satisfied, you know what I mean? I feel like my first album was good because peoples was ok with the songs I had out. Now it’s more like, what songs can you make, you feel me?”

As far as what to expect on King Zoo, Fetty says much of the album is tailored for women, “This album is more like a love story album. That’s what people know me for. I make a lot of songs for females. A lot of stuff that I be going through, I just put it in my music. It’s gonna be some good songs and there’s gonna be some different songs. It’s all the Fetty Wap sound.”
