Eminem Donates To Victims Of Manchester Terrorist Attack
Eminem is helping Manchester victims get back on their feet.
For the most part, Eminem keeps a pretty low profile and manages to steer away from drama. But the “Love the Way You Lie” rapper recently stepped back into the spotlight to help those in need.
Following the deadly bombing that took place during Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester, United Kingdom, Eminem decided to step up to the plate and donate money to the JustGiving page, which was created by the Manchester Evening News, to assist families hurt by the tragic incident.
Their goal was to raise £2,000,000, so far they have reached £1.6 million with some help from Slim Shady. That money has merged with another fundraiser, We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, which was set up with the Red Cross and the council. In total, the earnings have reached £4.1 million.
Via Twitter, Eminem first reached out to his 20 million fans, asking them to help contribute to the cause, “Join me in helping Manchester victims & their families, Make a donation to the @BritishRedCross and @MENnewsdesk.”
In all, 22 people were killed during the attack.
