30 Glizzy has been murdered.
D.C. rapper 30 Glizzy, born Dashawn Pigford, 26, has been shot and killed. On Wednesday, at approximately 5:20 a.m., South Baltimore police arrived to an alley, where they found the “My Life” rapper unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
30 Glizzy was associated with 30 Glizzy, who he has collaborated with many times – on his tracks “Anywhere”, “Going Down”, and more. He was also featured on Glizzy Gang’s 2015 mixtape Be Careful. Just last month, he dropped his YC Wit Me mixtape, which featured a track with Sauce Walka.
Yesterday, Glizzy’s attorney, John McKenna, released the following statement, “He was a nice young man with a promising career. It’s just sad. I really am puzzled by what he was doing in South Baltimore, because he was more of a D.C. guy.” So far, no one from Glizzy Gang has commented on his death.
The staff at Inyaearhiphop sends our deepest condolences to 30 Glizzy’s family members and friends.
