Big Sean’s “I Decided” Debuts At No. 1 On The Billboard 200
Big Sean scores his second number 1 album with “I Decided.”
Congratulations to Big Sean! The 28 year old Detroit rapper has nabbed the number one slot on the Billboard 200 chart with his “I Decided” album – pushing Lady Gaga’s “Joanne” down to number 2.
In it’s first week, I Decided earned a total of 150,818 equivalent album units. Of that total, a whopping 65,000 units were in traditional album sales.
This marks Sean’s second number one album. He took over the chart’s in 2015 with “Dark Sky Paradise”, which moved 173,000 equivalent album units in it’s first week, 139,000 were in traditional album sales.
Earlier this week, via Twitter, Sean thanked Kanye West for signing him to G.O.O.D. Music, writing, “…10 years later on the same day, the boy from Detroit you signed has the #1 album in the country! Because you gave me a shot @kanyewest 🙏🏾.”
